The Australian Peptide Association endeavours to foster a culture of inclusion and equity in all of its activities including conference participation, awards and prizes, and administrative membership. The Australian Peptide Association welcomes and encourages participation by members regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, disability, religion or age. The association is committed to supporting diversity in all of its activities, including diversity in membership, leadership and recognition whilst maintaining a meritorious foundation for all of its dealings.

Gender Equity

The Australian Peptide Association endeavours to strive for gender balance in all of its activities by:

• Ensuring balanced female and male representation in the invited speakers, proffered talks and session chairs at the bi-annual conference.

• Ensuring committees such as the board, conference organising committee, awards committees and scientific advisory board are gender balanced.

• Striving to offer support structures that facilitate conference attendance by women and men with dependents.
